Ways to Support Scouting

Scouting thrives because of the volunteer and financial support provided by the community. The Daniel Webster Council is funded by a variety of sources, including: direct contributions, events, annual popcorn sale, foundation grants, and program/activity/camping fees.  With your support, the Daniel Webster Council will bring the nation’s highest quality Scouting programs to many more youth throughout New Hampshire.

There are many ways to contribute to Scouting, including being a volunteer. Here are some ways to support Scouting financially:

   Donate to Scouting Now

Many companies will match their employees’ donations to Scouting or award grants to the Council in recognition of your volunteer service. Click the link below to see if your employer offers either of these programs.

   Double Your Donation

The Boy Scouts of America is the recipient of all proceeds from the sale of vehicles donated to One Car One Difference® and specifically designated by the donor to support Daniel Webster Council. With your help, Scouting will continue providing youth the opportunity to try new things, give service to others, build self-confidence, and reinforce ethical standards. Use the form on the right side of the page to donate your vehicle, and help us ensure the future of America’s youth.    www.onecarhelpsscouts.com

Have fun and support Scouting at the same time. The Daniel Webster Council hosts a variety of fundraising events throughout the year including dinners, golf tournaments, and luncheons. This is a great way to introduce people you know to the impact Scouting makes on youth.

Scouting means doing. To help packs, troops, and crews raise the necessary funds, Scouting encourages units and individuals to participate in the annual product sale. This helps teach members the principle of paying their own way while also supporting council operations.

Consider adding a charitable bequest to Scouting in your will.

Support Scouting forever. Gifts to endowment funds generate investment interest to continue supporting Scouting forever. An endowment gift of cash, stock, or securities will help support Scouting for generations to come.

Does your business offer a service or product that Scouting families might enjoy? Sponsorships that include promotional opportunities are available.
