Are you a creative Scout with a passion for design? Do you want to leave your mark on Scouting in New Hampshire? Here’s your chance! We are excited to announce the Council Shoulder Patch (CSP) Design Contest, where Scouts and Scouters like you can submit their artwork for the next official Scouting America New Hampshire shoulder patch!
What is a Council Shoulder Patch (CSP)?
A CSP is the embroidered patch worn on the uniform sleeve representing your council. Showcasing the unique character and spirit of our council. Now, we’re giving YOU the opportunity to design a piece of Scouting history!
How to Participate
The contest is open to all registered Scouts and Volunteers in Scouting America New Hampshire. We want to see your creativity in action!
Contest Guidelines
Theme: Your design should capture the spirit of Scouting in New Hampshire. Think about the natural beauty, history, and adventure that make our state unique!
Required Elements:
- The design must comply with Scouting branding guidelines and the Guide to Awards and Insignia.
- The design must fit the approved CSP shape template
- The design must include the fleur-de-lis emblem
- The design must include the wording “Scouting America New Hampshire.“
Submission Deadline: All entries must be submitted by midnight on April 25, 2025.
How to Submit: Create your design digitally or as a hand-drawn sketch. You must submit a digital image of your design electronically through our form.
Voting and Recognition
Our members will be invited to vote on the submissions through a form we will distribute on May 1, 2025, through email, on our website, and social media channels. Only designs that meet all requirements will be eligible. The most popular design will be chosen as the winner.
The winning designer will not only have their design turned into the official council shoulder patch but will also receive a set of patches featuring their artwork!
The winning design is subject to revision/fine-tuning by a professional artist during the production process. All artwork submissions become the property of Scouting America New Hampshire.
