Welcome New GSR Camp Director
Andy Aldous
With an incredible 50 years of dedication to the Scouting movement, Andy’s journey is a testament to his passion for inspiring the next generation of Scouts.
Andy began his Scouting adventure in Massachusetts, earning his Eagle Scout rank with Troop 7 Dedham in 1984. Over the decades, he’s worn many hats — from CIT and Scoutcraft staff member at Wild Goose Camp in Barnstead, NH, to serving as Scoutmaster of his troop for an impressive 30 years. He later became a Den Leader for his son in Pack 75 in Bow, NH, and currently serves as Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 75.
Andy’s extensive camp leadership experience spans two decades at T.L. Storer Scout Reservation, where he excelled in a variety of director roles, including over a dozen years as Program Director and two years as Camp Director. Many fondly know him as “Andy from camp,” a legacy immortalized in his OA Vigil name, meaning “Lifelong Camp Guide.”
Join us in giving a warm welcome to Andy as he embarks on this exciting new chapter at GSR!
