GSR Camp Staff Highlight

Thank you, Drew Rydlewski!

As another successful summer at GSR has concluded, and we look to 2025. We want to take a moment to recognize our outgoing Reservation Director Drew Rydlewski for his meritorious service to Scouting and the Camping operations of Daniel Webster Council. In the time the Rydlewski’s have been Scouting in New Hampshire, Drew has spent summers at GSR since 2009.

Drew has carved out a legacy here that shows a commitment to shaping young people into leaders at all levels. Fostering in many, a passion for serving others and the outdoors. And committing our program to excellence in all facets. In his own words “if it doesn’t benefit the kids, we’re not doing it” There are many hats he’s worn at GSR over the years, as he takes this one off, please join us in thanking Drew for this chapter of his service to GSR and thousands of Scoutings youth.

Adam Shakley

We are excited to introduce Adam Shakley as our new Program Director of Griswold Scout Reservation for the 2025 Season. Adam has served on camp staff since 2018.

In his seven summers Adam has been a growing force for scouting program. Getting his start on the shooting ranges and working his way up to Archery Director.

Adam has also earned his Ecology Certification from National Camping School, served as a camp commissioner, and most recently served as the Dining Hall Director in 2024.
