What Changed at the beginning of 2026?
With the reorganization of the council based on the recommendations of the Service Delivery Task Force, a few things changed for the Eagle Boards. These are noteworthy changes:
- As the traditional Districts no longer exist, the District Eagle Boards will no longer exist under the District names. However, substantially the same Eagle Boards will continue to operate.
- The Eagle Boards are named after the towns in which they meet. (See the map; you can zoom and pan if you cannot see all of the Eagle Boards.)
- The former Wannalancit Eagle Board has split into the “Bow” and “Meredith” Eagle Boards.
- Each Eagle Candidate can choose which Eagle Board will review their project proposal.
As in the past:
- Project proposal review requests will go directly to the Eagle Board. (See the map for the locations of and contact information for the Eagle Boards.)
- Whichever Eagle Board reviews a project proposal for a Scout, the same Eagle Board will conduct the board of review for that scout.
- Eagle candidates will submit their completed Eagle Scout Rank applications to the Council office. See Eagle Scout Rank Application and Board of Review. After an application has been validated, it will be forwarded to the Eagle Board who will contact the Scout to schedule a Board of Review.
