Changes to 2021 Council Insurance Fee

Dear Unit Key 3:

COVID-19 has presented many challenges to our scouting families, from the lack of activity due to being quarantined to financial constraints from reduced work schedules or layoffs.

Scouting offers a wide variety of fun activities such as catching a fish, racing Pinewood Derby cars, camping out with friends, or taking an adventure to one of Scouting’s high adventure bases. All these experiences and adventures take some form of financial resources, and we do not want cost to be a barrier for your continued membership in the Daniel Webster Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Therefore, the Executive Board of the Daniel Webster Council has approved the full waiver of the DWC Insurance Fee for this upcoming recharter season for all youth and adult leaders. Members will still be responsible for the National Fees and any other fees that are due at recharter. DWC Insurance Fees will resume in the next recharter season at the rates previously communicated.

Our only ask is that you continue to support the Daniel Webster Council through Friends of Scouting, various Council sponsored fundraisers, or by attending one of our fantastic summer camps next year. As a Council, we need your continued support.

Thank you for all you are doing for the youth of New Hampshire. Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving Holiday.
