Pre-registration: Need Unit commitment by Sept 18th (Is your Unit coming?) A leader in the Unit needs to be BALOO trained for family camping. Let me know if your unit does not have such a trained leader. You can register online at nhscouting.org, use the mailbox payment selection so you can pay at the event (so you won’t have to pay more if someone can’t come at the last minute).

Final Numbers: How many are coming from your Unit? How many tents and easy-ups are you bringing? Need this by Sept 29th so we can place you in an appropriately sized site. [email me jeannettewims@yahoo.com]

Registration at the Event: Starts at 4 pm, please no sooner. Everyone must register. Everyone will receive a wrist bracelet that will need to be worn the entire weekend. We are responsible for knowing who is on property the entire weekend. Please, drive in slowly, watch for directions where to park, and come into the Cabin.

Cost: $13 per person OR $10 early bird price for those who register by 9/18!

Med Forms: Parts A and B are needed for everyone camping for the weekend. All leaders must include a YPT certificate with their Med Forms. You will get them all back for your records on Sunday when you check out. Any Scout who uses an Epi-pen must have the Epi-Pen Form signed by their Doctor with their Med form.

PROVO GROUP: If your Unit has a small number of Scouts that would like to come, we can put you together with another Unit to make a larger Patrol. Email me if you think you’d want to participate with Provo Group. I can connect you with the leader of the other group so you two can communicate before our event. Our Provo Groups tend to do very well in our activities.

ALL SCOUTS AND LEADERS:

Class A is needed to be worn at Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

Class B can be worn the rest of the time if they choose.

Camping Rules following Guide to Safe Scouting

Does your den have a Den Chief? Invite them along for the weekend. They will earn Service Time for helping out with the Pack. They still have to have a Med form and be registered. There is no charge for them either.
