Summer Camp Informational Breakouts

We will be featuring presentations from Mark Hamel, Director of Camp Carpenter, and GSR Reservation Director Drew Rydlewski in which they which will discuss details of, and answer questions on 2021 Summer Camp options.

Community Awareness Initiative Breakout

Arrowhead District is launching a new Community Awareness campaign, leveraging both traditional and social media to make the community aware of all the great things we are doing in scouting and all the things it has to offer. This is an important tool in our attempt to bolster our recruitment numbers at a time when we're having difficulties with them for so many different reasons.

We are looking to solicit volunteers from each unit to help with this initiative. Preferably parents or adult leaders (other than those who are already in senior leadership positions), or possibly either some older youth looking for an opportunity to help develop their communications skills. The Arrowhead District will be hosting a hands-on series spanning the next 5 roundtables with experts in and outside of Scouting to help provide unit volunteers the knowledge of how to do this effectively, provide examples, and then coaching to help apply this right away to your unit.
