Duane Armstrong
District Executive, Abnaki District
Duane Armstrong joined the Daniel Webster Council in September of 2007. Duane comes to the council from the private sector after an eighteen year career in sales, marketing, and finance. His family have all been actively involved in scouting. His father was an Eagle Scout, as well as his uncle and grand father. In addition, his grandfather was awarded the Silver Beaver. Duane's mother was a den leader for the six years while he was in Cub Scouts. Duane attained Tenderfoot in Scouts himself, but the troop dissolved shortly after his first year in Boy Scouts. He wants to use the knowledge gained from his private sector career in Abnaki District to make sure that every boy who wants to be involved in scouting has that opportunity.
Duane llives in New Durham with his wife, Elizabeth and their two year old son. He loves being a father and his new job as Abnaki District Executive.
Duane holds a BA in Political Science from Elizabethtown College, in Pennsylvania and is currently completing a Masters degree in Public Administration from The University of New Hampshire.
